Copy of Lake Mathletes Club - Grades 3-4

Lake Mathletes Club will teach kids advanced ways to think about math and geometry problems outside of the typical school problem set. Students will be given the tools to fully comprehend a problem before trying to solve it, using critical thinking and reasoning to find a solution. Students will have the option to compete in both Math Noetic and Math Kangaroo competitions in November and March of the school year. To align better with the grade levels, one club will be offered for grades 1-2, and another for grades 3-4. 

Meets every other Monday 2:15 - 3:15

Lake Mathletes Club enseñará a los niños formas avanzadas de pensar en problemas de matemáticas y geometría fuera del típico conjunto de problemas escolares. Los estudiantes recibirán las herramientas para comprender completamente un problema antes de intentar resolverlo, utilizando el pensamiento y el razonamiento críticos para encontrar una solución.
